Company in the state of Paraná has 75% of its fleet with Neobus buses
Neobus sold four New MEGA buses to Viação do Sul, a traditional passenger transport company in Paraná that has been a client for over ten years.
The vehicles in operation last November, are the first of the New MEGA model purchased by a state carrier. They are used for urban transport in the city of Curitiba. The operator values a high standard of comfort, safety and robustness for passengers. The New MEGA provides greater efficiency and low maintenance costs.
The purchase of these new vehicles is part of the permanent renewal process of the Viação do Sul fleet. With this purchase the carrier has now a fleet with 75% of Neobus units.
The new vehicles were build on a Mercedes-Benz OF1721 chassis, 12,565 mm long and capacity for 31 passengers. They are equipped with city-type seats and space for a handicapped person as well as a large internal area that facilitates passenger flow.
With the same objective of preserving safety and comfort for passengers, the new MEGA buses for Viação do Sul received a central stair lift with hydraulic unit, aluminum flooring with non-slip mat, disembarking doors with wide access and superior opening windows for efficient internal ventilation.
The vehicles are equipped with a messaging system on the doors, upper and lateral destination display for better visualization of the lines in operation.
