Neobus provided 25 Mega Plus buses to Viação Canarinho, an urban transport operator in city of Jaraguá do Sul, in Santa Catarina. The vehicles started operating at the end of January and were acquired within the company's fleet renewal process.
The Mega Plus bus stands out for the extreme robustness and for having the largest width among the urban buses within the domestic market. It features more internal space for passengers, economy and modern design and it was designed to also offer greater efficiency and profitability to the operator.
Equipped with Volkswagen 15,190 OD Euro V chassis, its total length is 11,200 mm. The Mega Plus features electronic destination display, multiplex system, three-camera monitoring, internal and external LED lighting. It also provides the driver with greater ergonomics and comfort for better driving.
Founded in 1970 in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina, Viação Canarinho is the first company in Jaraguá do Sul for passenger transportation. In 2009, it implemented one of the most modern electronic collection systems in Brazil, providing benefits to the population. Currently, it owns a fleet of about 220 vehicles, most of them are urban buses, all of them with full accessibility and compliance with the law, as well as tour buses and microbuses.
