NEOBUS will supply 30 new MEGA PLUS buses to Friburgo Auto Ônibus Ltda., one of the main transport operators in the city of Nova Friburgo, in Rio de Janeiro. The vehicles are part of the fleet renewal program of the operator. The buses feature commemorative painting design to the 200 years of foundation of the municipality and they will be used for public transport.
According to Eurico Quintela, sales manager of NEOBUS, the manufacturer has dedicated special attention to the resumption of the Brazilian market, especially in the urban segment, and he says also that the company wants to expand its presence in the most important regions such as the state of Rio de Janeiro. “Gradually, urban passenger transport companies are renewing their fleets and we are prepared to meet this demand with vehicles in the desired configurations, such as air conditioning, USB port and air suspension,“ says the executive.
With a total length of 12.4 m and Mercedes-Benz OF 1721L chassis, the MEGA PLUS has the capacity to carry 45 seated passengers in Urban type seats. The vehicle has an air conditioning system, plugs for charging electronic equipment with USB port, lift, internal LED lighting, optical set, LED tail lights within injected parts and electronic destination display. The position of the driver has greater ergonomics and comfort to provide better driving.
The NEOBUS MEGA PLUS model stands out for its extreme robustness, more internal space for passengers, economy and great design. The vehicle was designed to meet the needs of urban transport, combining comfort, performance and offering greater efficiency and profitability to the operator.
