NEOBUS will be at the 2017 Transpublic Fair, which will be held between the 29th and 31st of August, reinforcing its presence in the Brazilian market. At the event, held at the Transamerica Expo Centre in São Paulo, the company will exhibit its bus line, highlighting the MEGA BRT, the most commercialized model for BRT systems in Brazil and considered ideal for large urban centres. The MEGA PLUS and the New Road N10 340 vehicles with lift platform will also be presented.
“We are working on developing our complete family of vehicles and on defining the best positioning of the products. We want to reinforce the image of NEOBUS buses, which are recognized by technology, versatility, safety, comfort and efficiency ", reveals the director of NEOBUS, Alexandre Pontalti.
Urban Models
With unique external design, MEGA BRT has a larger glazed area with glazed windows and a large passenger saloon with more interior space both in height and width. With a 22-meter-long chassis and Volvo B340M, the bus has the capacity to carry 44 seated passengers and 166 standing.
The vehicle has an air conditioning system, 860 mm wide Urban Injected seats with high headrest, space for wheelchair users and seats for the elderly, pregnant women or people with reduced mobility or disability. To facilitate passenger access, the vehicle has five boarding/ disembarking doors.
Internally, the MEGA BRT has an audio-visual system with MP3-CD radio with USB port and two 21.5-inch LCD monitors. To increase safety, the driver has a monitoring system with internal as well as reverse cameras, reverse siren, parking sensor and multiplex system, in addition to fog lights and mechanical and/or hydraulic driver's seat.
The MEGA PLUS urban bus stands out for the extreme robustness, with more internal space for passengers, economy and modern design and it was designed to also offer greater efficiency and profitability to the operator.
With seating capacity for 41 passengers, the MEGA PLUS has a MAN VW17.230 OD chassis and 13.2 m length. It is equipped with a drawer type elevator, chrome-plated headlamps and optical front and rear LED sets with LED daytime running lights. The vehicle offers more comfort and convenience for passengers, with high-back seats.
It includes air-conditioning, audio, wireless internet (Wi-Fi), aluminium flooring, retractable guide stool and mechanical/ hydraulic grammer driver's seat. It also has plugs for charging electronic equipment with USB port and monitoring system.
Road bus with lifting platform
NEOBUS presents the New Road N10 with lifting platform, a solution that creates an alternative of accessibility and provides more comfort, safety and ergonomics to people with the most varied kinds of mobility difficulties. “We have developed a practical and safe system to help board and disembark passengers with special needs, "says Alexandre Pontalti.
Ideal for interstate and intercity road transport, NEOBUS New Road N10 340 can carry 43 passengers seated in Super Soft Executive type seats. With 12,500 mm of total length and chassis MAN 17.230 OD, it has multiplex and audio-visual systems with three monitors, LED lights, fully functional and modern panel and reading lights.
The vehicle has pneumatic suspension, air conditioning, pantographic door, retractable guide stool, total partition wall separating the passenger saloon, windows fixed in the rubber support and electronic destination display.
