NEOBUS DEVELOPS UNIQUE MICROBUS TO THE CITY OF PETROPOLIS

Thunder + has special configuration and 8000mm length

In order to increase sales in Rio de Janeiro, especially in the region of Petrópolis, NEOBUS has developed a Thunder + minibus that is 8,000mm full-length with a TGW of 9 tons. The vehicle will be used in hard to reach places in the hilly neighborhoods of the city.

Built on Mercedes-Benz LO 916 chassis, the vehicle can carry 34 passengers, 22 seated in Intercity 860 upholstered seats, and 12 standing up. It features four-camera monitoring system preparation and stair lift for full accessibility.

According to João Paulo Ledur, director of NEOBUS, Cascatinha is a traditional client of the brand with over 10 years of partnership. “This proximity and relationship are very important because it allowed us to develop a unique model to meet the specific needs of the operator in a region of severe application,” says the Executive.

NEOBUS Thunder + stands out for its robustness and versatility. It offers more interior space in the passenger saloon and efficient operation. The model has a flat flooring with no wheel arch in the saloon, indoor and outdoor LED lighting and headlights with chrome mask.
